At The Road Home, it is our commitment to you that we will be respectful of the data you share with us and would never sell your information to other companies or businesses for marketing purposes; trust and confidence are key to everything we do. This Privacy Policy is a container that gives a clear shape to what our picture of online integrity looks like: when and why we collect your personal information, how it is used, and the limited conditions under which we might disclose it to others, as well as how we keep it secure.
 

WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION

When you purchase something through the website, as part of the buying and selling process, we may collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address, telephone number and email address. When you browse the site, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system (this helps us make sure we create a web experience that is working great for all our users).

Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails with regular content, program offerings, products for sale, and other information related to The Road Home or Angie Jackson, LAc (such as the “Weekly Dose of Yes!” weekly email offering). Please know that we are intentional about everything that is sent out and endeavor to deliver content that is appropriate for what you subscribed for and isn’t going to overpower your inbox.

We use a third-party provider, ActiveCampaign, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing angie@angiejacksonlac.com.

 

CONSENT

When you provide us with personal information to reply to a message sent from our contact from, complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or exchange/return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no. THIRD PARTY SERVICES 

Squarespace

Our site is hosted on Squarespace, Inc. (Squarespace). We only use Squarespace to receive your information via forms to sign up for our mailing list or to contact us through an online form. Your data is not stored through Squarespace's data storage. However, no company, including Squarespace, can fully eliminate security risks associated with the transmission of personal information through online forms, and you do so at your own risk. Squarespace uses the services of Peer1 Hosting for their website and for Squarespace managed websites. Personal information hosted by or through Squarespace is subject to Peer1 Hosting’s privacy policy which may or may not contain terms as protective as this privacy policy. We use ChARM EHR to schedule appointments, receive payments, and track your patient information.

ChARM EHR is a HIPAA compliant EHR which means it has stringent security and privacy practices to protect patients' health information. ChARM EHR follows strict and standardized procedures in areas of Access Controls, Network Security, Physical Security, Data Security, Application Security, Operations Security and Business Continuity.

The data stored and the communication between our scheduling form and the ChARM system are highly encrypted. You can learn more about how ChARM protects your patient data by reading their privacy policy here.

In short, we use ChARM because it allows us to effortlessly track your account with us, follow your trajectory from appointment to appointment with ease, take payments easily, and allow you to schedule at your leisure. We have chosen ChARM because it is an industry-standard solution for practitioners to work with their patients in a secure and consistent way.

Google Analytics

When someone visits www.angiejacksonlac.com we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns.
